Today, however, I made an interesting discovery: while browsing a film magazine from 1938, I found an article mentioning the existence of a French version of the film, titled "Siwa, escale du désert." This opens up new possibilities and gives us hope that we might be able to track down at least the French version of the film. For now, though, my initial research in this direction has not yet yielded any concrete results.
