The photos, realized in the spring of 1893 in the first trip of Hermann Burchardt, come directly from the archive of the "Ethnologisches Museum -Berlin" except for some that come from the publication of Stefano Struffolino "Hermann Burchardt at Siwa: unpublished pictures" who found them in the same archives.
